The Credit Risk Analyst is a proactive, results-oriented individual responsible for analyzing, developing and implementing credit risk models and strategies. The analyst will make recommendations to minimize risk while also being able to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders, ranging from customers to executive management.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in credit or risk management roles
  • 2+ years of experience with credit/risk scoring concepts
  • 2+ years of experience with various analytical tools (SQL, PowerBI, R, SAS, etc.)
  • 2+ years of experience in Microsoft, specifically Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel

Responsibilities

  • Development, enhancement and monitoring of credit and fraud risk management strategies
  • Ongoing performance monitoring of the loan portfolio and making subsequent recommendations in order to improve performance
  • Conduct analysis - including retrieval, manipulation and analysis of complex datasets for standard reports and ad hoc projects that impact the credit and lending processes
  • Ability to work with and influence leadership regarding credit and risk decisions
  • Partner with various teams (Engineering, Compliance, Operations, etc.) to ensure solutions meet business needs and objectives
  • Effectively communicate with various levels of stakeholders internally and externally (executives, partners, customers, etc.)
  • Performs other related duties as assigned
