About The Position

First Citizens Bank offers a summer internship program aimed at providing development opportunities and hands-on work experience while creating a talent pipeline for the Bank. Interns will apply classroom knowledge in a corporate environment, making a positive impact across the organization and the communities served. The Credit Review team is seeking a talented student intern for the summer of 2025, where they will gain exposure to independent reviews and support capabilities provided by the Strategic, Operations, Analytics and Reporting (SOAR) team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED and 1 year of experience
• Currently enrolled at an accredited collegiate institution during the summer program
• Ability to work 40 hours per week during the duration of the program

Responsibilities

• Be part of a dynamic team with interesting projects.
• Engage in research, analytics, projects, strategy, process review and improvement, as well as technology enhancements and support.
• Attend professional development sessions, informational sessions, networking, and community service events.
• Work under the guidance of a dedicated manager and program manager to navigate the bank and the internship program.
• Be assigned a project aimed at improving a specific process or solving a problem, which will be presented at the end of the internship.
• Prepare a wrap-up presentation to share accomplishments and experiences with the division leader and other key stakeholders.
