It all begins with outstanding talent. It all begins with you. Wells Fargo is seeking a Credit Portfolio Associate within our Distribution Finance Team, part of Wells Fargo Commercial Banking. In this role, you will serve as the customer service contact for a portfolio of wholesale loan customers, develop and maintain a professional relationship with assigned accounts, and ensure timely and accurate resolution of account issues such as billing inquiries, credit line maintenance, order approvals, dealer inventory and payment website questions and field audit results. You will also listen, gather and analyze dealer feedback to drive customer service improvements, proactively manage accounts by ensuring each customer is in full compliance with their approved program via collection of amounts due and required credit file documentation, and monitor accounts through the use of portfolio control sub system.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of Credit Portfolio Consulting experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years of customer service experience.
  • 1+ years of collections experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, economics or finance.
  • Commercial floorplan finance experience.
  • Ability to be an integral part of a strong team.
  • Strong problem solving and attention to details.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) skills.
  • Strong time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the customer service contact for a portfolio of wholesale loan customers.

  • Proactively manage accounts by ensuring each customer is in full compliance with their approved program via collection of amounts due and required credit file documentation.
  • Monitor accounts through the use of portfolio control sub system; review various reports to identify potential problem loans and initiate proactive resolution with Team Lead & Portfolio Manager.
  • Build a relationship with the customer as measured through Customer Surveys.
