About The Position

The Credit Operations Fulfillment Specialist III - HELOC at Truist Bank is responsible for supporting the origination, booking, modification, servicing, and subordinations of retail consumer and small business loans. This role involves coordinating activities across various banking divisions, maintaining relationships with clients and partners, and ensuring compliance with legal and policy guidelines. The position requires a strong understanding of lending products and processes, as well as the ability to mentor less experienced associates.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in relevant studies or equivalent education and training.
• Five years of banking or financial services experience in lending.
• Experience in reviewing, approving, and preparing loan documentation.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to problem solve and advocate for clients while balancing risk.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in relevant studies.
• Experience in reviewing complex documentation including Trusts and Power of Attorney.
• Knowledge of various types of lending products including Securities, Real Estate, Marine, Auto, and Unsecured loans.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities relevant to Wealth, Premier, Small Business and Retail loan requests.
• Independently manage a pipeline of various loan requests including origination, modification, servicing, and subordination.
• Gather, analyze, review, and approve Title reports, Hazard Insurance, Appraisals, and other related documentation.
• Review and approve Power of Attorney and Trust documentation to ensure compliance with legal and policy guidelines.
• Maintain knowledge of retail, small business, and wealth management products, policies, and processes.
• Prepare documentation for closing packages in compliance with guidelines and policies.
• Audit pre-closing and executed loan packages to ensure documentation meets requirements.
• Assist less experienced associates through mentoring and resolving escalated issues.
• Meet or exceed monthly production and quality performance metrics.
