About The Position

The position is for a Senior Consultant in Credit Operations Application Support at Truist, located in Wilson, NC. The role involves providing solutions that support the development of complex products and services for Truist's Credit Operations applications. The consultant will serve as a subject matter expert, perform functional analysis, and lead application support efforts.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer/business-related field, or equivalent education and training.
  • Strong knowledge of banking systems.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong knowledge of systems development methodology.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and resources effectively.
  • Strong technical and financial business knowledge.
  • Excellent team player dedicated to collaborative solutions.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, such as Microsoft Office.

  • Graduate degree or equivalent education and experience.
  • Eight years of successful systems support and development experience in a banking environment.
  • Strong knowledge of project management principles.
  • AFSVision experience.
  • Commercial lending knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as line of business subject matter expert for Credit Operations and other banking and financial support systems.
  • Perform comprehensive functional analysis and requirements definition for technical partners.
  • Formulate new and innovative strategic solutions to complex application and product designs.
  • Provide oversight for system-related tasks, including testing and reconciliation of systems.
  • Lead and provide application support, including problem research, analysis, resolution, and on-call support.
  • Advocate changes to Credit Operations Systems that support management directives.
  • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and technology, developing relationships with vendors.
  • Communicate project status and application stability to Credit Operations leadership.
  • Ensure adherence to corporate, regulatory, and audit guidelines.
  • Implement business tasks independently and lead team activities as needed.
