About The Position

What You Will Do Lead and manage the Credit & Collections function to protect and optimize EJD’s Accounts Receivable by enforcing credit policies, managing delinquency, approving orders, and ensuring compliance with corporate risk guidelines Oversee credit application review and credit limit decisions, ensuring all new and existing accounts are evaluated within established risk tolerances and approval authorities. Manage, develop, and evaluate a team of 5 Credit & Collection Specialists, including recruiting, training, performance management, and ongoing professional development. Act as the primary credit liaison with Sales, Customer Care, Retail Execution, Onboarding, and EJD leadership on customer issues, new sales opportunities, and troubled accounts. Participate in sales leadership and cross‑functional meetings, providing credit insight on existing accounts, new opportunities, and retailer financial health. Requirements

  • Strong commercial credit and collections expertise
  • Proven people management and leadership skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong decision‑making ability
  • 7–10 years of prior commercial credit and collections experience and a four‑year business degree (Finance, Economics, or Accounting preferred).

  • Demonstrated success in process improvement, benchmarking, and KPI development within credit operations.
  • Strong project management exposure, particularly in system implementations or cross‑functional initiatives.
  • Ability to think “outside the box” while maintaining compliance with corporate risk and governance standards.
  • Experience partnering closely with Sales leadership in a wholesale or distribution environment.
