The Credit Manager is responsible for managing and monitoring all credit aspects of an assigned portfolio of customer accounts in a manner that aligns with CITGO's values, policies, and procedures. This role supports maximizing profits while minimizing risk exposure for CITGO. The Credit Manager commits the company to provide unsecured, partially secured, or fully secured lines of credit up to $3 million. Continuous control of customer account balances within established terms and limits is essential, as is establishing and maintaining strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including customers and CITGO Marketing. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams for strategic problem-solving and knowledge sharing regarding credit matters. The Credit Manager will also assist the manager in their duties through recommendations involving procedures and standards. This position requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of three years of job-related experience, along with a high level of financial skills to perform risk and reward analysis and trend analysis. The candidate must possess a strong understanding of corporate credit management policies and the ability to investigate, analyze, and evaluate credit effectively. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to protect the company's interests, and the ability to work on complex projects with minimal supervision is essential. Basic to moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office is required, and SAP knowledge is preferred.
