About The Position

The Credit Clerk at Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Biloxi is responsible for receiving and processing credit applications, ensuring accurate and timely completion of investigations, and maintaining customer files. This role requires interaction with various departments and patrons to provide essential information to the Credit Department, while upholding the company's mission and values.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Previous casino cage or credit experience required.
  • Previous cash handling experience required.
  • Knowledge of Title 31 Bank Secrecy Act as it pertains to Credit/Cage transactions.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of casino computer systems, Microsoft applications, and timekeeping programs.
  • Data entry skills preferred.
  • Basic mathematical skills required.

Responsibilities

  • Receives and processes credit applications.
  • Insures the accurate and timely completion of credit application investigations utilizing telephonic and written communication.
  • Maintains customer files both computerized and hard copy.
  • Coordinates transfer of credit information to casino and finance department.
  • Maintains credit office in a neat, organized, and professional manner.
  • Assists in collection duties and information filing and processing.
  • Coordinates and prepares credit correspondence both internal and external.
  • Works with PS management in the maintenance of applicable gaming lists and files as needed/directed.
  • Works Box Office/Credit/HOF window and maintains cash drawer as assigned.
  • Performs promotional duties (GOM, Club, Scratch-Offs) and assists with inventory storage as needed.
  • Upholds the Mission Statement - We create authentic experiences that rock.
  • Represents Hard Rock Biloxi in the most positive manner with guests, co-workers, managers, and vendors.
