Job Description: This job is responsible for managing clients and related credit products, partnering closely with relationship management, sales/trading, treasury management, operations and risk teams to support the client relationship. Key responsibilities include underwriting, monitoring, managing operational needs and/or client requests. Job expectations include credit-focused client management responsibilities, independent thought leadership, strong leadership skills, the ability to provide feedback to less experienced teammates and may also manage a team. • Global Markets Credit ("GMC") is responsible for executing robust and consistent credit underwriting for Global Markets lending activities within the first line of defense.The Credit officer leads core credit underwriting and ongoing portfolio management functions for the US Credit Asset Finance ("CAF") portfolio. The Facilities are offered to credit and equity funds, collateralized by syndicated loans, private credit loans, private equity stakes, and other bespoke collateral packages. Key responsibilities will include vetting and approving transactions in the deal screenings and driving term negotiation, diligence, and credit committee processes. Review and potentially challenge all elements of transactions including client selection, structure, collateral, and cashflow stress analysis. Post-close, the role will have responsibility for ongoing deal and portfolio monitoring and will exercise credit approval authority for new deals, amendments, waivers, renewals, and extensions.
