The Credit and Vendor Specialist role is responsible for managing customer credit processes, monitoring accounts receivable risk, maintaining vendor relationships, and ensuring timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices and payments. The ideal candidate will have strong financial acumen, excellent communication skills, takes ownership of their responsibilities, and has the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in credit, accounts receivable, accounts payable, or vendor management.
• Knowledge of credit reporting tools and financial risk assessment methods.
• Familiarity with compliance and internal control procedures.
• Strong understanding of financial statements and credit risk analysis.
• Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Credit Management Evaluate and approve customer credit applications.
• Perform credit risk assessments.
• Collaborate with Sales and Finance teams to resolve billing or credit disputes.
• Prepare credit reports and risk analysis summaries for management.
• Vendor Management Maintain vendor master data and ensure accurate documentation.
• Process vendor invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Support vendor negotiations and maintain positive supplier relationships.
• Compliance & Reporting Ensure adherence to internal controls and financial policies.
• Assist with audits by providing required documentation.
• Maintain and manage a compliance calendar to track recurring fees, contract renewals, and other critical deadlines.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
