Responsibilities

  • Understand and comply with regulatory requirements for financial transactions, specifically BSA and CIP.
  • Exhibit superior customer service and build strong relationships with customers.
  • Participate in developing a teamwork atmosphere with co-workers.
  • Stay informed about company communications and take advantage of appropriate communication channels.
  • Develop personal skills through ongoing training.
  • Uphold and safeguard the organization's values relating to ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
  • Greet customers and provide superior customer service.
  • Prepare Credit Analysis including analysis of borrower and guarantor financial statements, cash flows, company history, competition, and industry/market.
  • Review credit files and information from loan officers.
  • Prepare financial statement spreads, cash flows, Loan Memo, and detailed Credit Analysis.
  • Develop questions and information needs for loan officers after reviewing files.
  • Pull and analyze credit reports on individuals and Experian reports on companies.
  • Research industry information and RMA comparisons.
  • Review credit files, loan agreements, and loan policy for compliance.
  • Prepare profitability models.
  • Send completed packages to Credit Officer and/or Loan Officer for review.
  • Distribute loan packages to Committee Members after changes from Credit Officer/Loan Officer.
  • Order appraisals.
  • Attend Loan Committee meetings.
  • Accompany loan officers on customer calls.
  • Maintain knowledge of specialized industries.
  • Ensure work is performed accurately utilizing accounting principles and business finance standards.
  • Perform job responsibilities without close supervision and handle multiple tasks.
  • Report to work regularly and promptly.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times.
  • Maintain established department and Bank policies, procedures, and objectives.
