About The Position

The Credit Analyst position at Allianz Trade Benelux involves proactively managing a portfolio of buyers, conducting visits to gather financial information, and representing Allianz Trade in front of buyers. This cross-border role requires flexibility to travel between Belgium and The Netherlands and focuses on assessing credit ratings to minimize losses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and/or Master in Economics, Finance Banking, Business Administration or Risk Management.
• 2+ years of working experience in financial management, Credit Insurance, Risk/Banking-Corporate industry.
• Extended knowledge of Financial analysis and Risk assessment.
• Excellent communication and persuasion skills.
• Proactive, resourceful, detail and results-oriented.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Team player with the ability to communicate with internal and external parties in a collaborative and positive manner.
• Fluent in Dutch and English; French is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining contact with Finance Directors and Treasurers of buyers through visits, telephone, and written correspondence.
• Managing a portfolio of high-risk companies (buyers).
• Performing financial and credit analysis to determine the appropriate credit rating of companies being analyzed.
• Analyzing all available information to apply a consistent Credit Rating Methodology across the portfolio and making detailed recommendations to the Benelux Credit Risk Committee.
• Contributing to Allianz Trade growth ambitions by supporting the Commercial Department with ad-hoc analysis and qualified business leads.
