Requirements

  • Knowledge of agricultural finance and related industries is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Gather financial and business-related information from customers and prospects through interviews and other resources.
  • Analyze financial statements, tax records, and pro forma statements.
  • Prepare credit analysis and recommendations for small to medium size portfolios.
  • Comply with documentation expectations, procedures, laws, and regulations.
  • Support customer relationships through marketing and servicing financial products.
  • Participate in the Large Loan process to deliver high-quality products within risk parameters.
  • Conduct farm visits and collateral inspections to assess loan collateral.
  • Research agricultural industries and commodities to identify trends and opportunities.
  • Establish rapport with customers and maintain their confidence.
  • Represent AgWest at public relations events and support agricultural organizations.
  • Classify and identify charge-offs reserves and allowances on assigned loans.
  • Perform credit investigations including public record searches and income verification.
  • Participate in loan closings ensuring documentation is completed and understood.
  • Coordinate with relationship managers for effective credit administration.
  • Assist industry teams with detailed studies and customer educational events.
