About The Position

The Credit Analyst position at Riverview Bank involves supporting the Commercial Lending Department by analyzing the financial positions of individuals and businesses applying for credit. The role includes preparing credit memorandums and loan review documents, ensuring complete financial information is received, and conducting risk analysis to classify loans and borrowers appropriately.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent from an accredited college/technical school.
• Preferred one year of intermediate accounting experience and two years as a Credit Analyst or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals and governmental regulations.
• Ability to prepare basic loan reports and business correspondence.
• Ability to calculate basic mathematical functions and solve practical problems.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with financial analysis software or tools.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

Responsibilities

• Work with Portfolio Managers and Relationship Managers to ensure complete financial information is received from clients and prospects.
• Manage a dashboard of workflows within Abrigo to prioritize requests.
• Input financial data and produce financial spreads focusing on cash flow and repayment analysis.
• Complete steps in various workflows for New Requests, Renewals, Modifications, Extensions, and other credit memorandums.
• Generate credit reports and conduct OFAC inquiries on existing borrowers and prospects.
• Assist in the financial review process of other Credit Analysts' work and train new Credit Analysts.
• Engage in risk discussions and conduct advanced analysis for complex borrowers.
• Project professionalism in appearance and attitude when dealing with clients and peers.
• Attend required training classes and observe all federal and state laws as well as bank policies.
