About The Position

The Credit Analyst I CRE position at City National Bank involves assisting the Commercial Real Estate Team in evaluating new credit requests and extensions through thorough research and analysis. Requirements

• H.S. Diploma required.
• Minimum 1 year of credit analysis or equivalent financial analysis experience required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a banking or financial services environment required.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field preferred.
• 1 to 5 years of experience in credit and/or financial analysis preferred.
• Working knowledge of credit, accounting, credit policy, and financial statement analysis required.
• Excellent organizational and analytical skills required.
• Good verbal and written communication skills to present clear recommendations based on analysis.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field preferred.
• 1 to 5 years of experience in credit and/or financial analysis preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares credit analysis and investigation of new and renewed commercial real estate loan requests.
• Provides necessary documentation and financial facts for Credit Officers/Relationship Managers to analyze and evaluate credit structure and terms.
• Conducts analytical functions related to due diligence, document processing, and financial statement analyses for transactions and credit approvals.
• Prepares summaries documenting factual analysis and supporting information for credit decision recommendations.
• Monitors receipt and evaluates documents surrounding credits, including financial statements, tax returns, cash flow, and credit reports.
• Monitors and reviews REACT reports and collaborates with the Commercial Real Estate Team to ensure reporting requirements are met.
