Harford Community College is seeking qualified adjunct faculty members to teach on-campus, online, and/or hybrid classes in subjects including Astronomy, Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science, Data Science, Earth Science, Engineering, Environmental Science, Forensic Science, Mathematics, and Physical Science / Physics.

Requirements

• A Master's degree in the subject or a closely-related subject.
• Prior experience using a Learning Management System (LMS).
• Prior experience with classroom technology.
• Lab skills specific to the discipline.

Nice To Haves

• Prior teaching experience preferred.
• Professional experience in the discipline a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach on-campus, online, and/or hybrid classes in assigned subjects.
• Prepare and deliver lectures and lab sessions as per the course schedule.
• Utilize Learning Management System (LMS) for course management.
• Engage students in the learning process and assess their performance.
