Credentialing Specialist
About The Position
Responsible for credentialing, re-credentialing and privileging process for all healthcare providers to provide patient care at the Hospital. Responsible for ensuring and maintaining data for each provider in credentialing databases and online systems timely renewal of licenses and certifications. Complies and maintains current and accurate data for all providers. Completes provider credentialing and re-credentialing applications; monitoring and follow-ups as needed. Ensure practice addresses are current with all entities. Maintain Copies of current Licenses, DEA Certificates, malpractice coverage and other required documentation. Perform other duties assigned by coordinator
Requirements
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year experience as a Credentialing Specialist
