About The Position

The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for the processing credentialing applications for provider enrollments with various third party payer

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2-3 years in health care or medical business office office required.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in use of Microsoft Word & Excel required.
• Knowledge of medical terminology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• General understanding of credentialing requirements of most common third party payers preferred.
• Experience in provider credentialling or medical staff office desirable.
• Certified Professional Credentialling Specialist (CPCS) or Certified Medical Staff Coordinator (CMSC) desired.
• Experience with Credential My Doc software desired but not required.
