The Children’s Home Network (CHN) provides a broad range of child and family serving programs, including residential, foster care, kinship care, behavioral health, early childhood education, and family support services. Its work is supported by a broad range of public and private funders and regulated by several licensing, credentialing, and accrediting bodies, including the Florida Department of Children and Families, the Florida Agency for Healthcare Administration, the Council on Accreditation, local taxation districts, and federally supported funding programs such as Medicaid. The Credentialing Specialist works within the CHN Human Resources Department to ensure CHN’s personnel remain current and compliant with all credentialing requirements for their scope of work and practice. This individual exercises primary responsibility for completing and maintaining all applicant and employee background screening and credentialing.
