About The Position

The Credentialing Specialist plays a vital role within the Insurance Operations Team at Aspen Dental, responsible for the efficient procurement of provider licenses and credentialing documents. This position requires excellent time management and communication skills, and it reports directly to the Credentialing Manager.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent; College Degree preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills.
• Excellent time management, prioritization, and organizational skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Execute licensure and credentialing processes for new and existing providers, including obtaining required documentation from third-party sources.
• Source and maintain up-to-date information regarding state and federal requirements for professional licensing and credentialing.
• Report licensure and credentialing expiration dates and renewal requirements to providers and relevant management teams.
• Work closely with the enrollment team to ensure proper processing of provider credentials for enrollment in dental plans.
• Perform other clerical and administrative responsibilities as assigned.
