The Credentialing Specialist at National Seating & Mobility, Inc. is responsible for managing the daily activities of the Credentialing Department, ensuring compliance with government and commercial payer guidelines. This role involves direct communication with payers, completing enrollment applications, and maintaining accurate data related to licenses and permits. The position is crucial for supporting the company's mission of providing mobility solutions and enhancing client independence.

  • Manage daily activities of the Credentialing Department including licenses, permits, and credentialing status.
  • Communicate with payers via phone, email, or other means to ensure understanding of guidelines and compliance with regulations.
  • Complete enrollment and re-enrollment applications for commercial payers, attaching required documentation and securing signatures.
  • Initiate, track, and complete New Branch Requests and Branch Relocation Requests, informing payers of branch moves.
  • Work with the Contracting Specialist and Regional Manager to supply necessary applications for new contracts.
  • Track and document all requests in the KACE System for reporting purposes.
  • Maintain accuracy and integrity of data on the company intranet.
  • Assist users across the company with issues related to licenses, permits, and credentialing status.
  • Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Assume other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • High School Diploma or equivalency certificate.
  • 2+ years related credentialing experience, preferably in DME.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Strong data entry skills with a focus on accuracy and speed.
  • Working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat is a plus.
  • Experience in the healthcare or mobility solutions industry.
