About The Position

Manatee Memorial Hospital in Bradenton, Florida, has served the citizens of Manatee, Sarasota and surrounding counties for over 70 years. Requirements

• High school degree or equivalent, required.
• Minimum of two (2) years of credentialing experience, required.

Nice To Haves

• Associates degree or Bachelor's degree, preferred.
• Certified Professional Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) from the National Association of Medical Staff Services (NAMSS), preferred.

Responsibilities

• Verifies qualifications, credentials, and eligibility of healthcare professionals prior to assigning hospital privileges.
• Maintains documentation and databases with relevant information.
• Processes paperwork for hospital personnel.
• Coordinates assistance to the Medical Staff Manager in all aspects of daily administration and coordination of associated functions for the Medical Staff Office.
• May coordinate physician education rotations.
• Maintains strict confidentiality in written and oral communication.
• Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.
