Requirements

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 2 or more years of related experience.
  • Microsoft Office Suite proficiency.
  • Experience with Credentialing Software.
  • Ability to meet established production and quality goals/metrics.

Nice To Haves

  • Certified Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) through National Association of Medical Staff Services preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely processing of all new hires and additional locations/boards for credentialing and re-credentialing applications.
  • Notify appropriate parties once credentialing materials are received.
  • Maintain updated information in the Medical Staff Offices (MSO) and credentialing databases.
  • Perform primary source verifications for internal and external processing, including MSOs and state boards.
  • Collect, sort, and scan incoming mail and documents into the system for recordkeeping and distribution.
