About The Position

This position is responsible for supporting the onboarding, credentialing and ongoing compliance for Registered Behavior Technicians and Behavior Technicians: Staff Onboarding: Work with Talent Acquisition Specialists (TAS) to support the onboarding of new hires, collecting employee information for credentialing purposes and reviewing employee paperwork during onboarding to ensure company requirements are met. Complete fraud prevention checks for new hires to ensure eligibility to practice with BII; review/send disclosure forms; communicate with TAS when more information is needed. Review employee documents/credentials and advise TAS if documents are missing/ incorrect, complete secondary review at completion of onboarding and final approval to begin services. Add employees to the BII provider-approved sheet as applicable. Staff Credentialing: Complete initial and annual provider credentialing updates in practice management programs (ex. NPI). Complete credentialing applications for individual providers to ensure employees can work with specified families and bill for services rendered. Maintain provider rosters. Conduct monthly roster reviews and complete provider requests for information as needed (Technicians, BCBAs) Support with requests for clearances to providers (ex. School Districts) Maintain up to date log of provider contacts, developing and maintaining strong rapport Complete company-wide OIG sanction screening report and submit monthly to maintain compliance with various providers Collaborate with Clinical team to complete staffing referral sheet to provide credentialing information pertinent to staffing cases Personnel File Management: Maintain personnel files electronically from onboarding through termination Notify employees when items are set to expire, communicating due dates and instructions for completion, and providing support as needed Accurately track expiration dates, notifying HR personnel and employee supervisors when an employee is out of compliance with company or provider standards Communicate with Clinical team for support with employee outreach as needed Career Advancement Manage the “RBT Pipeline” by supporting employees interested in obtaining their RBT credential throughout the process through receiving the credential Provide weekly outreach to new hires with information on obtaining RBT credential Obtain initial assessments from Program Supervisors and coordinate scheduling of remaining portions Follow up regularly to ensure completion and submission to the BACB (including timelines and updated clearances) Support with submission of application and scheduling of exam. Update BII credentialing sheets and provider rosters with employees position. Update employees file. Training: Provide initial outreach to employees with provider specific training requirements, including training content and how to access trainings Monitor training progress to ensure timely completion. Follow up as needed. Offer ongoing training support; identify alternate training content to complete, if needed. Work with Training Specialist to ensure accurate training completion for provider compliance purposes Coordinate with Clinical Program Supervisors and employees for in person support with training and/or lack of access to personal devices. General Responsibilities: Support company audits and licensing applications, ensuring provider approved sheet is up to date, pulling employee files as directed, and providing day-of support as needed Maintain procedures/workflows through ongoing reviews and updates Collaborate with teams from various departments for initiatives, projects, and processes Support with special projects and assist with other tasks as needed

Requirements

  • Minimum of Associate’s degree
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience
  • Previous knowledge/experience in Human Resources strongly preferred
  • High degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and confidentiality
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
  • Excellent customer service, problem-solving and negotiation skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
