About The Position
The Credentialing Specialist 2 plays a crucial role in supporting the credentialing and recredentialing processes for applicants and members of the Medical Staff and Allied Health Professionals at Baptist Health South Florida. This position ensures that only qualified practitioners provide care by processing initial and reappointment applications in accordance with established policies and regulatory standards. The specialist collaborates with Medical Staff Offices to verify credentials and obtain appropriate privileges, while also participating in projects to enhance the credentialing process.
