Position Summary The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for managing and maintaining the credentialing and recredentialing processes for healthcare providers who are joining, or already participating in the network. This role ensures that all providers meet regulatory, payer, and organizational requirements, and that all credentialing activities are completed timely and accurately. The specialist maintains Credentialing systems and works closely with providers to verify qualifications including education, training, licenses, certifications, work history, and other essential business and credentialing requirements.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years healthcare provider credentialing experience
  • Knowledge of CAQH, NPDB, EPDB
  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Effective written and verbal communication
  • Ability to learn new systems/programs quickly
