We are seeking a Credentialing Operations Analyst I for our team to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. The Credentialing Operations Analyst I supports operational workflow, credentialing stakeholders across the enterprise by designing, developing and implementing critical reports related to credentialed practitioners. This position will work with the team to develop and maintain reporting tools necessary to support operations, including the development of tools to effectively measure performance and other organizational needs. The position will also support key partners and stakeholders, including Parallon executives, Credentialing Processing Centers (CPC), Clinical Operations Group (COG) executives, Medical Staff Professionals (MSPs), as well as Parallon IT&S, to develop, deploy, and maintain standardized data and reporting tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • Minimum 1-year relevant experience.
  • Credentialing/CPC experience preferred.
  • HCA-based system experience preferred.
  • SQL Development Preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Understand operational processes in order to identify and escalate issues to management.
  • Support and manage strategic goals when operational changes are needed.
  • Monitor and notify the field of operational impact when EDW disruptions occur in order to prevent or minimize workflow delays.
  • Designs, develops and implements ad hoc and standard reports and/or operational reporting applications surrounding the practitioners credentialing processes.
  • Actively participate in brainstorming and think tank sessions to meet the needs of strategic imperatives, operational revisions and other strategies as needed.
  • Respond to and work tickets submitted to the Credentialing Service Central work queue by clients (HCA, ASC, CPC, PSG and UCC Teams).
  • Build and maintain operational dashboards to support and monitor various aspects of credentialing workflow processes.
  • Develops and executes reports and applications using appropriate tool set and data mining tools (Cactus, Business Objects, Crystal Reporting, SQL, Power BI, Power BI Report Builder, Microsoft Office, and Power platform: Power Apps and Power Automate) to assist customers with data requests.
  • Manage client questions regarding dashboards and other operational systems.
  • Plays a critical role in our future growth opportunities by ensuring reports are accurate and distributed timely to meet stakeholder needs.
  • Develops reports that outline key data metrics supporting the practitioners credentialing process for HCA, Parallon and other stakeholders.
  • Integrates strong understanding of Credentialing Processing Center (CPC) operations and Cactus data into the development and maintenance of reports.
  • Coordinates development of the more complex and key reports with other members of the team.
  • Provides complex ad hoc operational reports and analyses as requested by management teams.
  • Escalates issues and concerns to the Manager of Credentialing Reporting.
  • Assist with ongoing reporting standardization efforts.
