About The Position

The Credentialing Manager manages provider credentialing activities of NorthStar Anesthesia medical providers working at client locations in alignment with department and organization policy & procedures and state and federal requirements. We’re looking for a proactive and dynamic Credentialing Manager to oversee provider verification, lead a talented team, and ensure compliance with credentialing standards. In this role, you'll drive strategic initiatives, manage policies, and contribute to departmental success.

Requirements

  • 5-8 years of experience in hands-on, full circle credentialing and at least 2 years in leadership or management capacity.
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent experience required.
  • Proven track record of achieving high levels of accuracy and maintaining compliance in credentialing processes.
  • Ability to lead, develop, mentor, and manage staff to achieve departmental and organization goals and objectives.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with individuals at all levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience managing remote employees.
  • A track record of successfully managing large, high impact projects preferred.
  • Comfort and familiarity with tech with the ability to pick up new platforms with ease.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office 365 (TEAMS, outlook email, excel, PowerPoint, etc.) and adobe pro.
  • Analytical thinking skills.
  • Mathematical skills.
  • Attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with overseeing the provider verification process for doctors, nurses, and other practitioners.
  • Ensure credentialing activity is completed within current department policies and practices and client location credentialing standards.
  • Lead and direct the work of other employees and has full authority for recommendation of personnel decisions.
  • Administer established policies and procedures and credentialing standards.
  • Contribute directly to departmental budgeting, strategic planning, and the evaluation and implementation of procedural changes.
  • Promote and demonstrate NorthStar Anesthesia’s Core Values.
  • Demonstrate regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
  • Perform other duties as required.
