About The Position

Primary Responsibilities/Requirements: Credential all licensed providers. Physicians, PA’s, NP’s, PT’s, OT’s Work with all necessary hospitals to get privileges for providers Renew licenses and DEAs for providers Enroll any new locations or any new product lines with payer network Re-validate/re-enroll when each provider is due to for each payer network Minimum two years AR/Credentialing experience required Knowledge of medical billing and coding Thorough knowledge of legal and regulatory compliance, including HIPAA Ability to communicate well with patients, physicians and staff Self-motivated and ability to work independently Ability to utilize software applications to process applications Assist with other duties as assigned Must also possess: HS/GED required Ability to work under pressure and meet deadline Outstanding organizational, verbal and writing skills Independent and highly motivated Initiative and self-discipline Proven positive, "teamwork" attitude in work history Physical Demands: Must be able to use arms, hands, and fingers skillfully Constant sitting for long periods of time Must be agile and able to work efficiently in space limited areas Consistently work at a productive pace Education Requirements: High School Diploma Bachelor’s Degree or related experience in Physician practice credentialing Progressive experience in provider credentialing, medical coding, and/or billing

Requirements

  • Minimum two years AR/Credentialing experience required
  • Knowledge of medical billing and coding
