About The Position

Miracle Kids Success Academy (MKSA) & Kids Unlimited Learning Academy (KULA) is an early intervention day treatment clinic for children with special needs. Once children are referred to MKSA/KULA by their primary care physicians, they must receive a developmental screening. Then, they may be scheduled for therapy evaluations at MKSA/KULA or bring recent therapy evaluation reports done elsewhere. To receive Early Intervention Day Treatment habilitation services, a child must have a documented developmental disability or delay, as shown on the results of an annual comprehensive developmental evaluation and qualify for at least one therapy service. Those services include (but are not limited to) fine motor delays, sensory disorders, gross motor delays, speech-language delays, hearing disorders, feeding disorders, developmental delays, cognitive delays and medical needs. The Credentialing Coordinator is responsible for: understanding the organization's systems credentialing and billing procedures. Preparing and maintaining audit documents to ensure accuracy with the credentialing and billing process while providing the highest level of customer services possible to our leadership team. Excellent communication skills are needed in order to interface with operating locations, internal functional departments and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain credentialing files for all employees, including licenses, certifications, background checks, training records, immunizations, and other required documentation.
  • Oversee initial credentialing, re-credentialing, and ongoing compliance tracking for therapy providers, nurses, teachers, and support staff.
  • Verify professional licenses and certifications with appropriate state boards, registries, and third-party systems.
  • Track expiration dates and proactively communicate with staff to ensure timely renewal of required credentials.
  • Ensure compliance with Arkansas DHS, Medicaid, insurance payors, and internal MKSA standards.
  • Assist with onboarding processes by ensuring all new hires have completed required credentialing and compliance tasks prior to their start date.
  • Maintain accurate digital and hard-copy credentialing files in accordance with agency policies.
  • Prepare and organize documentation for audits, inspections, and quality assurance reviews.
  • Communicate professionally with employees, department supervisors, HR, and external agencies regarding credentialing requirements and status updates.
  • Support continuous improvement of credentialing workflows, forms, and systems.
  • Protect confidential information and uphold HIPAA, FERPA, and organizational privacy standards.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
