We are currently looking to hire a Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team at Animal Medical Center I-35 in Edmond, Oklahoma! With three experienced veterinarians who each bring their own unique style, we’re looking for someone adaptable, collaborative, and confident working alongside a diverse medical team — all while treating every patient and client like family. Who You Are: Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT) in Oklahoma, or eligible to transfer/acquire state license within 3 months of hire 3 + years of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary technician or assistant Knowledge of industry tools and equipment Passion for working with animals and their owners Experience with proper animal handling and restraint Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills Dental Experience; scaling, polishing, charting, radiographs Skilled in phlebotomy, IV Catheter placement, applying casts, bandages and splints Anesthesia monitoring and surgical experience including intubation, monitoring, pre-operative and post-operative care Confident with medical math and drug calculations Laboratory skills including cytology set-up and interpretation Diagnostic experience including digital radiology, dental radiology, and ultrasound-guided cystocentesis And all other duties of a Registered Veterinary Technician as allowable by law What Makes Us Different Referral program – join our team, bring your friends, and get paid!
