At Hoboken Vets Animal Clinic, we're a tight-knit crew of animal lovers and dedicated professionals who come together every day to make a real difference in the lives of pets and their people. We're growing our team and looking for a skilled, compassionate Credentialed Veterinary Technician or Experienced Veterinary Assistant with specialized training in surgical procedures and in-room nursing care to join us Full-Time or Part-Time. Requirements

  • You have specialized training and experience in surgical assisting and in-room nursing care.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment and can multitask with a calm, confident presence.
  • You're tech-savvy and comfortable using digital medical records and practice management software.
  • You communicate clearly and compassionately with clients and team members.
  • You're detail-oriented, organized, and dedicated to delivering the highest quality care.
  • You're eager to grow professionally in a practice that values development and teamwork.

Responsibilities

  • Assisting veterinarians during surgical procedures and providing in-room nursing care before, during, and after surgery.
  • Monitoring anesthesia and vital signs with precision and care.
  • Preparing surgical instruments and maintaining a sterile environment.
  • Administering medications and treatments as directed.
  • Providing compassionate patient care, including monitoring recovery and comfort.
  • Greeting clients warmly and supporting clear communication throughout the visit.
  • Scheduling appointments, managing records, and supporting smooth workflow.
  • Helping maintain a calm, organized, and welcoming clinic atmosphere.
