About The Position

VCA Alameda East Veterinary Hospital is seeking a credentialed veterinary technician to join our team in our top-rated neurology department. Our technicians are responsible for the technical duties, client communication and patient care related to their role and department. We have 3 boarded neurologists with a busy caseload. Requirements

Experienced, credentialed technicians are preferred, but we love to train new grads!

Responsibilities

All tasks related to inducing, maintain/monitoring, and recovering patients from anesthesia.
The main resource of providing anesthesia for neurology patients needing imaging and/or surgery.
Think analytically through disease process and patient needs.
Inspire and teach students and new associates.
Ensure documentation is appropriate, thorough, and complete.

Four ten hour shifts are available for this department.
