About The Position

The POP Creator Team is a crucial component of the Global e-commerce POP business. By directly managing creators and agencies, it helps POP merchants sell their products to global markets, currently covering major markets such as the United States, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, and Japan.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above with relevant business experience and at least 5 years of work experience.
  • Effective communication and problem solving skills.
  • Sensitive to data with strong data analysis skills.
  • Ability to work independently and time manage multiple sensitive and high profile initiatives and tasks.
  • Effective oral communicator in both English and Mandarin, being able to convey complex content concepts in both languages, in a clear and compelling manner, ultimately driving successful client engagements. Business proficiency in Mandarin will be required to bridge communication and liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients, agencies and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) etc.

Responsibilities

  • Grow a stable supply of live shopping content creators by sourcing, acquiring, and onboarding high-potential creator talent to the TikTok Shop ecosystem.
  • Execute the creator onboarding and management process, including but not limited to: signing and executing NDAs, communicating via Discord, tracking event sign-ups & attendance, presenting educational webinars, and attending relevant industry events.
  • Act as the bridge between creators and the TikTok Shop Global Selling Operations team to help identify ways to improve the Live experience, as well as communicate key messages and initiatives on a 1-to-few basis.
  • Provide insights, product sampling recommendations, and direction on growth and development strategies to creators based on data analysis and current consumer trends.
  • Collaborate with merchandising teams to identify niche categories, emerging trends, and elements of pop culture that can inspire new product strategies. Analyze competitors' product strategies to refine and localize merchandise, ensuring creators can maximize content efficiency and drive the next wave of viral products and trends.
  • Work under the guidance of the Creator Manager and Seller's Account Manager to create an appropriate merchandise mix based on selected categories, target segments, and emerging trends established by the team.
  • Manage assigned product assortments and leverage data and analytics to evaluate performance, optimize selection, and align with creator strategies.
  • Collaborate with top creators and celebrities, talent agencies, and MCNs with a strong focus on e-commerce.
  • Discover innovative business models for creators by improving their collaborations with brands and retailers for video as well as live shopping content.
  • Solve key challenges in business growth through strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
