About The Position

Cross Country Education is seeking a Certified English Teacher for a dynamic Creative Writing role to step into a vibrant, conservatory-style environment in Harrisburg, PA . Come lead students through their most important milestones through the remainder of the 2025-2026 school year! Position Overview: Deliver specialized writing instruction that maintains continuity and consistency through the end of the school year. Facilitate 30+ year-end presentations, guiding seniors as they mentor underclassmen on final creative projects. Manage and evaluate student work while coordinating with the broader arts faculty. Execute the existing syllabus to ensure all students meet end-of-year learning objectives and performance goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- Active Pennsylvania Professional Educator Certification in English (7-12)
- Prior experience teaching writing within an arts-based or conservatory-style curriculum
