About The Position

Honeywell is seeking a Writer, Content Strategist to bring marketing content to life through compelling, B2B-focused creative and storytelling. This role will work on an internal team of other writers, designers, and marketing experts dedicated to content ideation, strategy and production for marketing efforts around Honeywell's software, hardware, and services. From writing thought leadership articles to presentations and video scripts, this role calls for a multi-dimensional writer with strong agency-style copy, storytelling, and journalistic skills.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in B2B marketing to Fortune 500 industrials and government orgs
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing content creation/writing for B2B or B2C

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelors or Masters in English, Marketing, Journalism or similar degree with a heavy writing focus
  • Ability to architect a strong enterprise content strategy
  • Experience leading content/creative teams
  • Strong oral and written executive presentation skills: able to present complex issues in simple terms, and drive consensus, with a pro-active approach to communicating across large organizations.
  • Multi-lingual, multi-cultural global mindset
  • Expertise in working with agency and internal creative and production team

Responsibilities

  • B2B Marketing Copywriting / Content Strategy
  • Write copy across digital, print, and experiential applications long and short-form
  • Work with subject matter experts to distill complex technical ideas into audience-friendly messages.
  • Interface with visual designers, videographers, and agencies
  • Understanding and stewardship of the Honeywell content/brand guidelines
  • Works across a variety of creative workflow/collaboration tools like Teams, Workfront, Adobe suite, and more.
  • Perform editing, review and quality checks on other content
  • Content Strategy
  • Devise, evolve, and oversee marketing-focused content strategies
  • Help maintain, drive, and govern our web content strategy
  • Storyteller
  • Gain deep knowledge of our products and services to create compelling, audience-centric stories for industrial B2B buyers.
  • Work with executives and SMEs to produce thought leadership
  • Creative Ideation
  • Brainstorm with business partners on creative approach, style and tone
  • Propose content and help with business adoption
  • Collaborate with agency partners to ensure quality, fit and finish
