About the position

A Creative Services Manager will be responsible for the conceptualization and implementation of design of solutions that take marketing strategies from concept to completion. Their aesthetic should translate into designs that are clear, compelling, visually exciting, and easy to comprehend. Ultimately, they will drive the creation of marketing collateral that is relevant, accessible, and memorable. The ideal candidate will be able to effectively communicate creative ideas to stakeholders, collaborate on conception with Marketing Brand/Partner Managers, and deliver solutions that are timely and effective. To succeed in this role, the Creative Services Manager will bring in-depth knowledge of graphic design, branding, and storytelling.

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, plan, design, and produce a wide range of specialized graphic, typesetting and/or illustrative material, including multimedia concepts.
  • Apply graphic and production design experience to support the creation and development of print, display and digital marketing materials.
  • Collaborate with Marketing Brand/Partner Managers to conceptualize and execute marketing campaigns.
  • Create and implement brand standards for one or more brands.
  • Manage other designers and their creative work by providing constructive feedback to ensure that all marketing materials meet a high level of creativity, innovation, and brand association.
  • Research and set timeline and budget for both internal and outsourced projects.
  • Write and edit basic marketing and/or product copy.
  • Plan and provide direction for photoshoots of residential and commercial projects.
  • Research, select, and coordinate vendors/outsource partners for design work, printing, and publication services.
  • Provide creative and technical guidance and serve as liaison with marketing production personnel and/or printer representatives on design and technical graphics or display issues.
  • Source and maintain equipment needed for in-house photography efforts.

Requirements

  • Degree in Graphic Arts and >5 years of experience in a graphic designer role in a professional setting.
  • Expert level knowledge of principles and practices of graphic design.
  • Highly proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat, and Illustrator.
  • Proficiency in Premiere Pro and After Effects is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of print production and vendor and project management.

  • Ability to differentiate between trends and everlasting design practices.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Demonstrated organization and documentation skills with project management experience.
  • Ability to work simultaneously on multiple projects and balance input from multiple perspectives.
  • Must be an independent, creative, and innovative thinker.
