About The Position

This position plays a central role in supporting the G&C Foods brand, strengthening internal communications, and supporting critical business functions with high-impact creative. The Creative Services & Visual Communications Lead ensures that every visual touchpoint reinforces the company’s values, professionalism, and industry presence. The Creative Services & Visual Communications Lead is a strategic and hands-on creative professional who thrives at the intersection of design, brand identity, project management, and cross-functional collaboration. This role supports the development of high-impact visual communications that support internal engagement, supplier/vendor relations, and customer-facing marketing initiatives in a fast-paced B2B environment. As a core member of the Marketing & Communications team, the ideal candidate will combine sharp design sensibility, digital acumen, and operational excellence to ensure visual consistency and brand integrity across all company touchpoints. This role collaborates on creative execution, manages design workflows, and contributes to the evolution of the G&C Foods brand. It requires a candidate with strong interpersonal and communication skills, proven ability to build relationships, and experience working with diverse stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Adobe Creative Suite: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Acrobat
  • CMS Platforms: WordPress, Squarespace, SharePoint; familiarity with PowerPages a plus
  • Email Marketing: SendGrid, MailChimp, or comparable platform
  • Social Media Tools: Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or similar
  • Digital Asset Management: Experience organizing and maintaining shared libraries
  • Microsoft Office: Expert proficiency in PowerPoint; strong skills in Outlook, Teams, and Excel
  • Project Management: Monday.com or similar workflow management tools
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in graphic design, creative services, visual communications, or a related field, preferably in B2B, distribution, logistics, manufacturing, or foodservice sectors.
  • Demonstrated experience developing brand systems and managing creative consistency across a growing organization.
  • Proven ability to translate business priorities into clear, compelling visual outputs.
  • Experience managing competing deadlines within a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
  • Strong understanding of marketing fundamentals, layout design, typography, and digital best practices.
  • Strong aesthetic and brand identity instincts

Responsibilities

  • Support/lead the design, layout, and production of marketing and communication materials across print and digital formats, including: Point of Sale One-Sheets, Product Catalogs, Flyers, Brochures, Posters, Palm Cards, Infographics Email Campaigns, Website Maintenance, Digital Banner Advertisements, and Social Media Content Event and Tradeshow Collateral, Presentations, and Internal Communications Assets
  • Ensure brand consistency across all visual deliverables, maintaining clarity, professionalism, and alignment with G&C Foods brand standards.
  • Maintain (and in some instances develop) branded templates, iconography, and visual systems to support internal teams.
  • Provide creative feedback and collaborate with fellow designers, contractors, and external agencies as needed.
  • Translate complex information into compelling visual narratives for stakeholders across the organization.
  • Support creation and maintenance of web pages using CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, PowerPages, SharePoint).
  • Partner with Digital Designer to optimize visual consistency across web, email, and social channels.
  • Conduct QA reviews to ensure accuracy, usability, accessibility, and adherence to brand guidelines across all digital assets.
  • Assist in developing digital content standards and helping evolve the company’s online presence.
  • Serve as a strategic creative partner to Merchandising, Sales, Purchasing, HR, Transportation, Operations, and other departments.
  • Support proposals, presentations, executive communications, and internal initiatives with high-quality visual materials.
  • Collaborate with the Director to ensure messaging alignment and strong visual storytelling.
  • Participate in campaign planning and contribute creative insights that elevate brand presence and external engagement.
  • Manage timelines, priorities, and workflows for multiple concurrent design projects.
  • Oversee creative intake, including management of the internal service log for creative project requests.
  • Maintain organized digital asset libraries, design files, photo archives, and brand resources.
  • Provide status updates, milestones, and progress reports to stakeholders and department leadership.
  • Contribute to process improvements for creative operations, ensuring efficient and scalable design workflows.
