About The Position

We are looking for a Creative QA Analyst to join our remote talent pool as a freelancer. The role focuses on evaluating creative assets such as graphics, artwork, videos, banners, emails, and digital media to ensure alignment with brand guidelines and high-quality standards. The Creative QA Analyst will collaborate closely with creative teams and project managers to perform quality assurance checks, track defects, and provide constructive feedback that elevates creative output.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Design, Communications, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 - 6 years of proven experience in Quality Assurance, with emphasis on creative and digital assets.
  • Hands-on experience testing creative deliverables: banners, videos, interactive media, rich media units, and responsive emails.
  • Strong proficiency in QA processes, including test case design, execution, defect tracking, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with accessibility testing standards (W3C, ADA compliance).
  • Understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and QA’s role within it.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide timely follow-up and completion reports on creative testing projects.
  • Collaborative experience working with design and development teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong knowledge with Figma, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design platforms for asset validation.
  • Knowledge of QA tools for test management and defect tracking (e.g., Jira, Confluence, TestRail, Xray, Azure DevOps).
  • Experience supporting QA Leads/Managers with test documentation, Level of Effort estimations, and reporting.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban and collaborative workflows.
  • Exposure to API testing, web services, and integration QA.
  • Interest in continuous improvement and best practices in digital QA processes.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills in English and Spanish (written and verbal).

Nice To Haves

  • Quality Assurance certifications: ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent.
  • Courses in Web Accessibility (W3C standards).
  • Training in advertising platforms such as Flashtalking and DoubleClick Studio.
  • Coursework in Front-End practices and Agile Methodology applied to QA.
  • Exposure to API testing, web services, and integration QA.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute detailed test cases to diagnose issues, defects, and bugs.
  • Design and maintain test plans to ensure robustness, functionality, and performance.
  • Perform daily QA tasks including defect tracking, test execution, and validation across platforms.
  • Conduct quality assurance checks on banners, emails, videos, rich media, and digital designs.
  • Ensure adherence to brand guidelines, design specifications, and visual consistency.
  • Validate accessibility (including ADA compliance when required) and responsive design across devices.
  • Verify that user experience (UX) aligns with customer journey flows and project requirements.
  • Analyze project requirements and document changes to maintain alignment with evolving needs.
  • Escalate and report critical issues, working closely with the QA Lead/Manager to resolve them effectively.
  • Generate and present status reports to stakeholders, highlighting progress and quality insights.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain QA documentation and knowledge repositories.
  • Mentor junior creative analysts, promoting best practices and knowledge-sharing.
  • Foster a culture of quality, productivity, and continuous improvement within the team.
