About the team The Creative Studio team partners across the organization to bring ideas to life, creating high-quality assets that support Roku’s business goals and drive engagement. The team translates strategy into compelling creative, enabling teams and clients to achieve their objectives. About the role We are looking for a proactive, analytical, and strategic thinker who loves technology and entertainment for the position of Marketing Creative Project Manager to work on our streaming service. The ideal candidate has previous experience in a project management role in marketing or creative development, preferably in the streaming space. They are a proactive team player with a head for process, a pragmatic, strategic approach to problem solving and a self-starter attitude. They will be non-political, with the ability to influence stakeholders across different business and functional teams. They will work to understand priorities, develop, and communicate a plan, prioritize appropriately, and deliver commitments on time. They will track key dates, work effectively with cross-functional teams across multiple time zones and geographies, identify and manage risks, and assist with capacity planning processes. The work we do can be challenging, but that’s why we enjoy it so much. The ideal candidate isn’t a bystander. They are curious and engaged, willing to jump in to solve problems and make data-driven decisions even when things feel very ambiguous. Our industry changes quickly, so we expect a great candidate to be comfortable responding quickly to changing business needs, knowing that their own success comes when the team succeeds. Your typical day will include working collaboratively with marketing leads on prioritization, coordination, and management of creative projects. This can include project scoping and delivery timelines. The right candidate will thrive in high-pressure, high-volume settings, and be comfortable communicating with both creative and marketing teams.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience preferably at an advertising agency or with creatives in the marketing space
  • Experience in working across multiple time zones
  • Experience with Project Management tools such as Asana, Excel, or others
  • Skilled communicator with good verbal, presentation, and written communication skills: Ability to succinctly communicate with stakeholders and creatives
  • Ability to work well with some oversight and be aware of when/how to ask for assistance from senior team members or flag risks that need addressed
  • Good prioritization skills and an ability to stay calm under pressure. Comfortable with ambiguity in a fast-changing environment
  • Attention to detail while managing multiple projects/tasks

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Creative, Marketing, or related discipline preferred, but not required

Responsibilities

  • Day-to-day management of marketing creative operations to ensure all deliverables are aligned with the creative brief and delivered on time
  • Coordinate and manage details of each project from concept to delivery, including, but not limited to, entering creative tickets, managing deadlines, following up with teams on creative alignment, feedback, approvals and communicating timelines and deliverables
  • Manage expectations for dependencies, timelines, and due dates for deliverables, reviews, and approvals for campaign launches
  • Provide proactive updates and raise red flags on any issues that impact flawless execution
  • Assist in measuring and defining capacity of creative team, managing expectations and flagging risks for stakeholders
