About The Position

The Creative Product Marketing (CPM) Strategy Lead at USAA is responsible for guiding the strategic direction of marketing communications for various insurance products. This role involves collaborating with creative specialists and strategists to develop campaign concepts and assets that enhance product visibility and support acquisition goals. The CPM Strategy Lead will work closely with internal teams and external partners to ensure the delivery of high-quality, on-brand creative solutions that align with business objectives and resonate with the target audience.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Arts or Business Administration, or 4 additional years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 8 years of relevant work experience in developing and managing creative marketing strategies.
  • Extensive experience in collaborating with stakeholders and influencing decisions to achieve strategic goals.
  • Strong business acumen in operations, industry practices, and emerging trends.
  • Ability to develop a creative product strategy and establish a cohesive look-and-feel for financial services products.
  • Experience in creating test-and-learn agendas and analyzing data to inform marketing strategies.
  • In-depth knowledge of product marketing, including relevant laws and regulations.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate information and make informed decisions.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and adjust project scope as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of creative and marketing communication strategies for insurance products.
  • Provide insights into business drivers and consumer trends to inform marketing communications strategy.
  • Manage the creative marketing budget and collaborate with external agencies to achieve business objectives efficiently.
  • Explore innovative methods to enhance product presence through creative assets and recommend new trends for marketing efficiency.
  • Advocate for future strategy and growth plans for all products under management.
  • Participate or lead the agile marketing process to ensure timely delivery of integrated marketing plans.
  • Develop activation briefs and provide input into the Brand Strategic Positioning.
  • Ensure compliance with product-related regulations and risk management policies.
  • Coach and train team members to foster a collaborative work environment.
