The AppleCare Digital team is looking for a passionate and visionary Creative Lead to help drive the creative direction of our Social and on-Domain content. In this role, you'll work under the direction of the Creative Manager, alongside fellow Creative Leads, and closely with a team of Producers, Motion Artists, Editors, Designers, Writers, and Strategists to bring intuitive and effective support content to life. Requirements

  • 7+ years creating and producing video and/or graphic design content.
  • 7+ years of creative direction.
  • 7+ years working with designers (in-house or digital creative agency).
  • BA/BFA degree in Graphic Design, Motion Graphics, or other related subject area.
  • Strong eye for art direction across digital subject areas including photography, animation, live action, and compositing.
  • Experience working on templatized, sustaining content as well as special campaigns, with an expert ability to ideate and create innovative and visually appealing work across a broad range of media.
  • Keen interpersonal skills to work on a wide range of multiple projects in a manner that can be shared with the team.
  • Excellent communication skills and collaborative energy to work with a team to find simple solutions to complex problems.
  • Curiosity and passion for design — with a keen awareness of the evolving landscape of available tools, technologies, resources, and trends.
  • Resourcefulness and a strong sense of initiative in finding solutions.
  • Aptitude for seeing around corners to ensure awareness of bigger problems and opportunities ahead.
  • Dynamic, vivid communication style, capable of real-time creative problem-solving in conversation and conveying a strong point of view for design solutions.
  • Ability to cut through ambiguity and find the path forward, despite uncertainty or challenges.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the creative development of content from in-briefing to publication, ensuring that it meets the standards of quality, engagement, accuracy and tone that befits the Apple Brand.
  • Work as part of a dedicated team, passionate about excellent design in accordance with project constraints and parameters.
  • Bring a strong eye for art direction and a deep understanding of brand identity in order to develop, maintain and evolve a unique style guide of standards for the content.
  • Partner effectively and enthusiastically with fellow Creative Lead(s) on a range of projects, topics and needs.
  • Conceptualize, build storyboards and otherwise ideate for both design and animation, using different styles and approaches for deliverables as needed.
  • Operate with flexibility, responding swiftly to new information, opinions, and directions to shift strategically when needed.
  • Using a keen understanding of video production and business needs, develop and maintain a detailed and scalable approach to deliverables.
  • Dive deep into the details while also steering towards big picture objectives.
  • Innovate and drive best-practices for an efficient post-production graphics pipeline & workflow.
