Creative Intern
About The Position
This is an eight-week summer program based in Plano, TX designed for interns who want to see how an agency functions, specifically a multicultural agency that focuses on the Asian American consumer. You will be balancing between two worlds: supporting the daily needs of your homebase team and co-leading a primary internal initiative that will define how our office shows up in Texas and beyond. Your job is to make the invisible visible. We need a visual storyteller who can take a big idea and bring it to life in a way that is beautiful, functional, and makes sense for the task at hand. You should have a strong point of view, and a willingness to adapt and listen to others.
Requirements
- You lead with curiosity and ask "why" before you start designing.
- You are a visual thinker who understands that design must serve a purpose.
- You are proactive and comfortable working in an intimate, small-team setting.
- You are focused on the momentum of the project and the growth of the team.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (e.g. Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Strong design fundamentals in layout, hierarchy, and typography
Nice To Haves
- Exposure to motion, video, or basic animation
- Familiarity with presentation design
Responsibilities
- Assist your homebase team with visual design, asset creation, and daily creative tasks.
- Work with the Creative Strategist intern to refresh and refine the visual standards of our office’s brand presence.
- Translate a big idea into high-standard, tangible visual executions.
