This is a hybrid role with three weeks per month onsite (Mon. – Thurs.). The fourth week is fully remote. The Creative Director is a visionary leader responsible for defining and driving the creative strategy across all brand touchpoints. This role leads the creative team in delivering innovative, customer-centric campaigns and experiences that elevate the brand, drive engagement, and support business growth. As a key member of the leadership team, the Creative Director partners cross-functionally to ensure creative excellence and consistency across print, digital, retail, and experiential channels. Develop and articulate a compelling creative vision that aligns with Lands’ End’s brand strategy, business objectives, and customer insights. Lead the conceptual development of seasonal campaigns, product launches, and brand initiatives across all platforms. Ensure creative output consistently reflects the brand’s voice, values, and visual identity while pushing innovation and relevance. Inspire, mentor, and manage a multidisciplinary team of art directors, copywriters, designers, and producers. Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing creative culture that encourages experimentation and excellence. Provide clear direction, feedback, and support to ensure timely and high-quality execution of creative deliverables. Partner with Marketing, Merchandising, E-commerce, and Product teams to translate business strategies into compelling creative solutions. Collaborate with external agencies, photographers, stylists, and vendors to bring campaigns to life. Influence senior stakeholders and present creative strategies and concepts with clarity and confidence. Oversee the development of catalogs, digital content, advertising, packaging, and in-store experiences. Guide photo direction, art and copy development, and layout design to ensure brand consistency and storytelling impact. Maintain high standards of design and messaging across all customer touchpoints. Stay ahead of industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitive landscape to inform creative direction. Champion new technologies, platforms, and formats to expand the brand’s reach and relevance. Manage creative budgets, timelines, and resources efficiently. Ensure adherence to safe work practices and contribute to a positive, respectful work environment.
