As Creative Director at MNTN, you’ll define and elevate how one of the most visible brands in ad tech shows up in the world. You’ll be responsible for shaping the creative vision across every channel: design, campaigns, social, and experiences, ensuring that our work not only looks exceptional but drives performance. You’ll collaborate closely with leaders in product marketing, content, and sales to ensure our creative is cohesive, strategic, and unmistakably MNTN. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can both set the vision and speak the language of design; someone as comfortable in Figma as they are in a boardroom.

  • Lead the creative direction for MNTN’s brand and product marketing initiatives, ensuring everything we produce is cohesive, distinctive, and on-brand.
  • Partner with marketing leadership to develop integrated campaigns that bring our product narrative to life across web, social, email, and events.
  • Guide and mentor a talented team of designers, helping them grow while maintaining an uncompromising bar for quality.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, content, and social teams to ensure visual identity and storytelling are consistent across all extensions of the brand.
  • Translate complex, technical concepts into clear, compelling creative that resonates with marketers.
  • Bring a strong creative point of view to design reviews – able to discuss not just the what, but the why behind every design choice.
  • Maintain and evolve the MNTN brand system to stay modern, premium, and performance-focused.
  • Balance vision with execution: knowing when to push creative boundaries and when to optimize for impact.
  • 10+ years of creative leadership experience, ideally including time leading design or brand teams at a high-growth or public company.
  • A track record of shaping a well-known brand and guiding it through moments of scale, transformation, or heightened visibility.
  • Deep experience managing and mentoring designers and creative teams.
  • Hands-on fluency in digital design tools (especially Figma) and an ability to 'speak designer' while leading at a strategic level.
  • A portfolio that shows taste, clarity, and the ability to make complex ideas feel simple and human.
  • Experience partnering closely with social, content, and performance marketing teams to extend brand storytelling across channels.
  • A strong understanding of how creative drives results, not just attention.
  • A love of technology, advertising, and building work that performs as beautifully as it looks.
