About The Position

We are looking for a strategic creative thinker and leader with an emphasis on language. This role is responsible for maintaining institutional knowledge of brand language and ensuring its consistency and application. The Creative Director, Copywriter will completely own one or more work-streams and act as a trusted partner to clients, brand leaders, and strategists. The position involves working alongside strategy and brand leaders to shape briefs and strategic approaches, developing and directing overarching ideas, and overseeing creative teams from Associate Creative Director down. The role includes guiding, shaping, and developing ideation from subordinates, managing inter-team issues, collaborating on team capabilities and structures, identifying problem areas and opportunities, and working with teams across the agency to create solutions.

Requirements

  • College degree with focus in Copywriting, preferred
  • 10+ years of experience
  • Innovative concepting skills and great presentation skills
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite
  • Natural communicator with strong visual and verbal presentation skills
  • Positive attitude, genuine team player and a self-starter and go-getter attitude
  • Proven track record of leading teams to successful activations.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for concepting with the integrated team to deliver the best, most innovative creative ideas while maintaining a cohesive brand voice/identity.
  • Provide writing support and expertise in a wide variety of executions.
  • Collaborate with team and offer innovative ideas for creative briefs and strategy.
  • Track multiple parallel deadlines with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Successful execution of activations within established budgets and timeframe and on strategy.
  • Partners successfully with other creatives and across multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Presents work internally.
  • Actively participates/contributes to brainstorms.
  • Stay abreast of industry and technology trends.
  • Directly manages and mentors multiple teams.
  • Articulates vision, idea, objectives to vendor.
  • Attends on-site visits and shoots as needed to ensure the vision comes to life.
  • Supporting Momentum's Values.
  • All other duties as assigned.
