How you’ll make an impact: The Creative Director, Brand Lab will lead the concept and ideation for 360 campaigns, programming and activations for the entire portfolio of our brands: Carter’s, OshKosh, Little Planet, Otter Avenue and SkipHop. They will partner closely with our brand managers and creative teams on needs and challenges to bring strategies to life and ideate on pathways to achieve top tier results. Candidates must be excited about shaping cultural relevance and finding the white space for our brands to breakthrough in innovative ways. They will lead a team of 2 designers and 1 copywriter with the goal of total immersion in culture and constantly pitching new concepts that connect in a meaningful way.

Requirements

  • Creative ideation, taking brand strategy and conceptually bring it to life through robust and innovative pathways.
  • Global brand (big vision) thinking – how can creative strategy and concept be implemented downstream when presenting concepts.
  • Must have proven experience setting and inspiring creative vision and strategy while developing a high performance, multidisciplinary team.
  • Ability to present and influence opinion, win over diverse cross-functional peers with ideas.
  • Strong presentation, storyboard and copywriting skills a must.

Nice To Haves

  • 10+ years creative experience, ideally some portion of this in an agency setting, balancing multiple clients - including 5+ years of successful management a diverse team
  • Strong knowledge and application of industry trends, technology and creative tools
  • Successful experience performing and managing a range of creative positions, including design, art direction, photography, production and digital content
  • Must have stellar communication, presentation, problem-solving
  • Must have outstanding leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple work streams and create a cohesive go-to-market strategy
  • Inspire creativity and work well with different personality types- all while managing multiple projects in a fast-paced real time creative culture
