About The Position

To design, direct, coordinate and produce visual materials for Mayo Foundation and Mayo affiliates in a variety of mediums including: books, magazines, brochures, physical displays, posters and electronic mediums including web design, electronic presentations, and multimedia products. The Creative Design Assistant Director is an integral team member who, in addition to their normal production activities, provides art direction, proof checks, outsourcing management, image manipulation, job bidding, and direct customer consultation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Design Technology or related field from an accredited university, college or school of design.
• Minimum of two years of employment experience in a related field.
• Thorough knowledge of typography, type design, form and color theory, proportion and balance.
• Experience with photographic and computer imaging techniques.
• Proficient in electronic layout skills and exhibit/display knowledge.
• Familiarity with Unit specific software programs.
