About The Position

The Creative and Content Specialist at Shipley Do-Nuts is responsible for maintaining the brand's voice and visual identity across all marketing channels. This role focuses on creating engaging visual and written content that enhances brand awareness and drives customer engagement, contributing to the company's growth objectives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Communications, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in marketing or graphic design.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Canva, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital marketing trends.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in social media marketing (1 year preferred).
  • Writing skills (1 year preferred).
  • Digital design experience (1 year preferred).
  • Digital marketing experience (1 year preferred).

Responsibilities

  • Design engaging graphics for various marketing materials, including social media posts, email campaigns, and print materials.
  • Create visually appealing designs for loyalty program emails to drive customer engagement.
  • Apply agency creative campaigns to all marketing materials for the organization (digital and print).
  • Develop eye-catching graphics for local store marketing materials to increase foot traffic.
  • Design compelling visuals for online paid and social media advertising campaigns.
  • Develop engaging content for social media posts to attract and retain followers, collaborating with the director of brand marketing and the brand agency.
  • Write and edit copy for various marketing materials, ensuring brand consistency and clarity.
  • Manage and update the company's social media channels, including scheduling posts and responding to comments and messages.
  • Monitor social media analytics to track performance and identify trends.
  • Partner with the Brand Director and social agency team to define and execute a breakthrough social strategy that connects with guests and brand advocates.
  • Create and distribute weekly internal communications to keep franchisees and employees informed about company news, events, and initiatives.
  • Create branded PowerPoint templates for internal use and provide graphics assistance to executive team members.
