About The Position

The Creamer Operator at Saputo Inc. is responsible for the efficient operation of process equipment in a 24/7 manufacturing environment, ensuring the proper transfer and processing of dairy products. This role involves adhering to established guidelines and safety protocols while maintaining effective communication with other departments to meet production schedules. The operator will also be involved in documentation, compliance audits, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in food manufacturing, preferably in dairy.
• Strong math and technical skills to operate equipment controls.
• Ability to achieve lift truck certification and operate lift trucks safely.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated work history with consistent attendance.

• Advanced training in dairy science.

Responsibilities

• Follow established SOPs for the transfer of dairy products from blending to processing.
• Operate process equipment including heat exchange systems, tanks, pumps, and product lines.
• Ensure compliance with internal and external product processing guidelines.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to coordinate production schedules.
• Complete required documentation and audit records at the end of each shift.
• Support compliance audits and process product reclaim as per guidelines.
• Perform equipment cleaning and sanitation as required.
• Make routine equipment adjustments and maintain environmental controls.
• Adhere to GMP, Food Safety, and allergen policies.
• Identify and communicate any out-of-specification product conditions.
• Perform good housekeeping within established guidelines.
